I have been in the new Phillips Memorial Hall several times for community events, vendor events, and for a graduation. Out of all the times I have been there I have always been treated well. I have never rented the hall myself but when I have discussed it with those who have I have never had anyone tell me about a problem with the contract or any part of the process with renting it.
The kitchen is a warming kitchen that is quite large with more than enough room for several people to prepare and serve a meal. The large serving doors are more than ample to serve hundreds of people, if faster throughput is required they have banquet tables that can be setup so your guest can serve themselves from both sides of the table if you choose. The last time I was in there they did have round tables as can be seen in the photos.
When I have used the restroom it was always clean and the garbage has always been removed before it overflowed onto the floor, which should be up to the renter unless you pay for a cleaning staff to be on hand. I have used the old Memorial Hall several times and I had to stay on top of the housekeeping myself and when the night was done I did a final walk through to make sure everything was in order and I never once had a complaint that I am aware of.
Overall I have been very pleased with the new facility and would not hesitate to rent it.
