I had my son's wedding reception here on September 21, 2012. The service was excellent and the staff was very professional and personable from start to finish. The DJ was terrific and really kept things moving. The food was fantastic and the servers were attentive to all of our guests' needs. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. There were no last minute surprises; everything was taken care of as promised. No detail was overlooked. The price of the reception was amazingly affordable without a single compromise on quality. The only thing that kept me from rating it with 5 stars was that dinner was stretched out a bit too long...about 2 hours. I will definitely return for any future events, and I highly recommend The Cottage Green to anyone seeking an affordable event that is still classy and high quality.
