Founded in 1956, Timothy Academy is a private, Christian elementary school that serves students in prekindergarten through grade eight. It provides instruction in music, physical education, computers, Bible study, reading, art, social studies, science and mathematics. The academy offers several before- and after-school, summer child care and preschool programs. It also hosts regular open house events. In addition, the academy provides financial aid and transportation services. It is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Christian Schools Association and is approved by the Association of Christian Schools International and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Timothy Academy is based in Philadelphia.
