Tague was engaged by our general contractor to provide a specialty sliding door product. They are an official dealer for the product and represented that they could handle the order. We made the order over the summer in the July timeframe. We paid a requested $13k installment as requested for the order and expected to pay another $9k once the item was delivered. The expected delivery time was 10 - 12 weeks. It is now mid-December and the product has not been delivered. We have been communicating with Tague over the past 10 weeks. They have assured us that the order was in process and even over the past two weeks told us multiple times that the door would be arriving the next day. After many false promises, I called the manufacturer to find out what was going on. I was shocked to find that Tague had never even placed the order. I am now in a situation where we are into the winter with a 16ft wide hole in the building and no near term way to get the door I expected months ago. Tague has not even apologized or taken accountability for this issue. After taking my $13k check, they did nothing. Tague is a horrible company with no ethics and is not customer focused. There is no way I would work with Tague again. I would caution any customer or contractor working with Tague that they cannot be trusted and you will have to proactively manage them because they are not customer oriented.
