I had taken my 2008 Mini Cooper S to Pep Boys as the check engine light had come on and the car feels sluggish. They told me the turbo needed to be replaced and I paid $2,500.00 to have turbo replaced, drove my vehicle for 3 days and the check engine light came back on. I took the car back to pep boys and they kept it for a week and called me and told me everything was fine, I picked the vehicle back up and I drove the vehicle the next day and the check engine light came back on yet again. I called Pep Boys back and told them the light had come back on and I didn't feel comfortable bringing it back to them. A friend of mine recommended that I take my car to Sigismondi Foreign Car Specialist. I took my vehicle to them at 9:00 am and was explained that diagnostic charges would be $125.00 to diagnose the vehicle, at that point I gave them permission to check my vehicle. The repair facility called me around 2:00 telling me they had diagnosed my vehicle. The vacuum line from beneath the intake manifold to the turbo was collapsed and would need to be replaced. They told me the job would take 2 hours plus parts the total cost of repairing the my vehicle was $302.40 and I have been driving the vehicle for a week now and it drives perfect and the check engine light has not come back on. At this time I am disputing Pep Boys repairs and charges and am awaiting the outcome.

When a mechanic is trying to explain what needs to happen to my car to repair it, I feel like they are speaking another language. I'll admit that I don't know much about how my car works, and it always felt like someone was trying to pull the wool over my eyes when I got work done on it before, but not here. After my fender bender, these guys performed some kind of magic on my bumper to get it looking brand new, and it was EXACTLY the same price as the estimate.

Track days are the most fun I've ever had in my life. Seriously, try it out if you haven't. If you do, you have to get your work done here. They took my suspension from average, to insanely responsive, in the span of a weekend. The next track day I was taking corners at ridiculous speeds that I didn't think were possible before.
