Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about Philadelphia Womens Center (PWC). We are tremendously grateful each day for the opportunity to help women and their families, make a difference in peoples lives, and maintain an organization dedicated to our own values and beliefs. Established in 1972, PWC was the first outpatient abortion provider in Pennsylvania, and is proud to continue to lead the way in setting a standard for womens healthcare by identifying and meeting the needs of our patients. As our patients needs change, so have our services, as we strive to be at the forefront of excellence and service in the provision of womens healthcare. Philadelphia Womens Center has grown over the years, and has remained committed to a number of values that we believe are crucial to sustaining an environment that respects women and their families, our committed staff and physicians, and the community in which we live and work. First and foremost we are dedicated to treating our patients with the highest level of care. We have always asked ourselves, how would I myself want to be treated? How would I want a friend or family member someone I love to be treated? The answers to these questions have ultimately steered PWC in our goal-setting and decision-making, and have led us to create a place that we trust and love, and that we know our patients can have faith in and depend upon.
