This place deserves a negative rating. The customer service at this place is disgusting. The owner is not customer oriented and not willing to help customers. I asked him to explain something to me and he flat out said no. This was the worst experience I have ever received and would not recommend this place to anyone!!!!

I've dealt with Philadelphia Vision Center, Welsh Road Office, for years and have never had anything but a professional treatment. If I didn't need a change in prescription or glasses, they stated so. I've always been treated honestly.

I JUST GOT MY GLASSES FROM THIS OFFICE AND I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THE FRIENDLY SERVICE I RECEIVED. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I USED THIS OFFICE AND I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IT. CARMEN

Despite having the Office Manager check with my insurance company PRIOR to my appointment to make sure I was 100% covered, as I was leaving from the exam I was given a bill for $50. This was the "contact lens fitting fee", seems steep but I'm not an expert. The OM insisted this is standard practice, and I believe him... but clearly I was concerned about cost, and this is information I should have been given prior to my appt. In lieu of an apology, OM gave me a lecture about the dire state of the eye care industry, and informed me that the office took a financial hit on my appt because insurance companies only pay a fraction of the regular cost. Forgive me for not caring. Very unprofessional, the equipment used in the exam was filthy (the doctor handed me a tissue to clean it myself), and the office overall had a pot head hangout feel, not medical professional. The doctor himself was ok, and some people might enjoy the laid back atmosphere. I prefer professionalism.

Excellent service. Very professional. They take the time with you and fit you well for your glasses and do not pressure you into anything. Highly recommend.
