Pennsylvania Horticultural Society is a nonprofit membership organization founded in 1827. PHS organizes events, activities and publications for novice gardeners, experienced horticulturists and flower lovers of all ages. PHS produces and manages a variety of shows, competitions and programs, including the Philadelphia flower show, kids grow expo, and city garden contest. A program of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, Philadelphia Green is a full-range urban greening program that supports the development and ongoing care of community gardens, neighborhood parks and high-profile public green spaces in Philadelphia.
