Tried Pat's and Geno's the same day. Both decent, have had better cheese steaks elsewhere.

Pat's has become the benchmark of the Philly cheesesteak. At times, they are the absolute best, but more often that you'd expect from the '"King of Steaks", you get a bad one. The only solid gripe I'd have is that the attitude you get there is a straight up turnoff. Rarely do you get friendly service. The typical experience is a great steak from a "rude dude". Still, you go because you want a Pat's. Period.

Pat's is definately the way it is supposed to be. If you don't like Pat's then you really don't like Philly Cheesesteaks.

Pat's is truly KING of the cheesesteak. Unsurpassed taste and value. !

My family and I went to both this steak shop, as well as Geno's and found them both to be a disappointment.The steaks were cold and the cheese was just slapped on.No melted cheese on this sandwich.What a waste of our money.Highly overrated.

Omg...the best place to eat Cheesesteaks!P.S- ppl leave the club by 2am in philly...don't go here then b/c the line is way too long.

Pat's Steaks is always reliable but make sure you go at the right time for the perfect steak
