Sammy s Barbeque is a 500-seat Philadelphia restaurant/blues bar that offers a nightclub demeanor with a chandelier made of beer bottles at its entrance and silver bucket lampshades that hang over tables divided by tall wood fences. A corrugated metal roof strung with colored lanterns stretches over a table-covered deck leads to a mini-beach area and the Delaware River. Its menu consists of barbequed baby-back ribs, buffalo wings, beef brisket, sausage, Carolina-style pork, chicken fingers, burgers, baked beans and potato skins. Meals are served with cornbread, potato salad, green beans and coleslaw. Its desserts include hot-fudge Ho Hos, funnel cakes and Twinkies served with strawberries and vanilla ice cream. Its beer is served in buckets.
