If you like Philly cheesesteaks, they do not get any yummier than these. Unlike most steak shops, these people only uses refrigerated (never frozen) steaks, because freezing them ruins the flavor. Ditto for their fabulously delicious rolls. As mentioned in two below reviews, this shop does not have to cut their steaks into thousands of tiny pieces to make them edible, because they use the finest quality low-fat ribeye steak that money can buy. The frozen, gristle-laden schlock used by most competitors should be outlawed! This restaurant's name has been changed, so find them using their street address.

Ch-nk's makes the most delicious cheesesteaks on the planet. The cut of beef used is the most gristle-free possible for the money, and it is always fresh, not frozen. Ch-nk's rolls are always phenomenally tasty. Their fries are excellent, as are their burgers, hot dogs, and sausage sandwiches. I am not a fan of Ch-nk's chicken steaks, however. Also, avoid Ch-nk's milkshakes because they are almost flavorless. Their sodas are very expensive, as expected for this area of the city. Ch-nk's sundaes are average tasting at best and certainly not worth the high prices charged. Overall, Ch-nk's is the best restaurant in the city for most of the food that it serves. Ch-nk's also has very friendly employees, provided that you are polite to them.

The steak was horribly gristly and dry when I bought in December. The shake was almost flavorless. Nonetheless, I am giving them a five-star rating, based on my past experiences with their scrumptious steaks and fries. Their shakes deserve one star; buy them from McD's down the street. LMAO, when I tried to post this review with the company's name in it, this website rejected it with this notice: "Please remove the profanity from your review." LOL!

This place is across the street from my favorite go go bar, Jack's Pub. Steak prices are high but Jacks drink prices are low so do what I do. Take out a steak and walk across the street to Jacks for a really good lunch or dinner while watching go go dancers. They close around 8pm and Jacks closes around 10pm. Enjoy!
