Beware of their appointments and policies! !!.....Also its like a "Dental Manufacturing Mill" You never know out of their 19 and or more dentist who does the work on your child's teeth until they are done. There is No! Personal awareness of any of their patients! I just left and will never go back! $270.00 for a return visit, for just a check-up!! If u do go back check you appointment card, they give a date and wrong date! Gave 3 stars because kids liked it,nothing but problems with appointments and asking for certain dentist to do the work,ugh...

My daughters first time visit was fine, but when we had to go back for a filling it was a nightmare!! She was only 4 yrs old and very scared to go back by herself so of course I wanted to go back with her. The staff was very uncompassionate to the situation and would not allow me to go back. I could hear my daughter screaming from the waiting room. dr Irving rudely told me that if she didn't calm down we would have to go elsewhere. Long story short they put her in their version of a straight jacket and I was in the waiting room crying. I should have never took no for an answer when it came to going back with her. My daughter is traumatized from that experience

For kids, I hear this place is pretty awful, but Dr. Kendrick, who sees adults, is really great!

The one thing that really bothered me about this office was that the x-ray technician thought nothing of coming into the waiting room and discussing my child's past medical history. Isn't that a major HIPAA violation? She did this for every patient before she brought them back. She looked at me like I had two heads when I told her I preferred not to discuss my daughter's medical history in the waiting room. She acted like I offended her. Another thing that screamed incompetence was that the receptionist gave me forms to fill out while I was waiting. In the meantime she called my home and spoke with my husband and told him we missed our appointment??? Also, why did all of the forms say Dr. Bressler and Cavity Busters? Did they buy out Brushie Land? One good thing is that my daughter (8 yrs.) did like it there and wants to go back.

Can I rate it as negative star? I think that even as 1 star is way more than this place deserves. I made an appt for my kids at this place as my older one was very excited after she saw brushie the clown at her school. I made the appt by walking in and filling all the necessary forms way before the actual day. I even took a full day off work so that I did not miss the appt. But the people working upfront at the window could not have been any ruder. First they accused me of missing the appointment, calling me on my cel as I was waiting in the waiting area. I had been waiting for 40 minutes, but to no fault of mine the lady working upfront did not check all the way at the end of the list of sign in sheet, but start to call the people signed on the next column. I guess it had to be a reason why everyone was being taken care of instead of me and my kid. But do you think she apologized once I walked once again up to the window. Oh no, she was even ruder. Needless to say that I ran out asap.

I did not like this place at all!! First time here, and sure...it's "Kid Friendly" when you go in, (games, Bright colors..etc) but I found the dentist (man) to be cocky, and the staff just look at you as your asking "why you can't go back" with your 5 year old. After reading the reviews here, I didn't want to take my child here, but I gave them a chance, and thought MAYBE they changed since the reviews were 1-2 years ago, but no...it's still the same as everyone has said. I asked one of the woman at the front desk if I was allowed back with my child, and she said "Yes". I said after reading reviews on the place, people were saying that Parents were not allowed back. She said, if it's during a regular check up, or cleaning, we encourage parents to stay out in the waiting room. My son was having a extraction done, and would NOT let me go back with him, He is only 5!! I will NOT be going back to Brushie Land. I am still mad over today's Visit! Nothing seems confidential at all either.

Brushie Land offers adult services under the care of Dr. Colleen Kendrick. Initially, I was not impressed wih the office itself but was extremely pleased with the care provided. Dr. Kendrick along with the rest of the staff were extremely professional and thorough. I will definitely use this practice for my dental care.

After reading the 11/29/2010 review, I asked my child if anyone was on the phone during her appointments. She said only once while cleaning her teeth. Mostly she was on the phone when she getting the toy and toothbrush for her. I was ok with the toys disappearing from the waiting room, the train stop running, but this information isn't something you can over look. Now I understand why they prefer parents to wait in the front room. Time to find another practice.

The lady that cleaned my son's teeth (has black hair, black glasses, and a nose piercing) was using her iphone while cleaning his teeth. She had gloves on, the same gloves she put in my sons mouth. The management was unhelpful and she made a mockery of us! Needless to say, I will not go here again!

My son has been a patient for many years. Now my 2 year old went for his first visit. My oldest is not afraid to go to his appointments. Due to the fact that the rooms are kid friendly, makes the visit more enjoyable for the kids. I like the fact that they have plenty of staff for each room/child. They are all for the most part very pleasant.

This is a Dentist for children but the only appointments they have is from 9am to 2pm. When the children should be in school.

My daughter went here from 3 yrs until 15 yrs and this office is thorough and allows the patient to learn to be at the dentist without holding Momma's hand. I would recommend to anyone in the area.

Do not take your toddler here. My 3 year old daughter came out from her visit with bruises on her neck and face. She was taken to her pediatrician afterwards to confirm that the marks were indeed bruises. She has not been back since. Also be advised of the blanky policy. It is not a blanket like how it seems, it is a straight jacket without sleeves. Please I strongly suggest you not take your children there.
