      I don't know what I'd do without you guys at Carver reed!! They have helpe me through some of the most difficult times in my life, and my family too. I remember being a child and coming in with my mom when she needed some extra money to put food on the table. They are always so nice in there and make you feel better no matter what you are going through. I Trust them with my most precious and valuable family heirlooms and they have never let me down.       These people are a lifesaver!! I live just outside Ocean City, NJ and my home sustained serious damage during hurricane sandy last week. My insurance co told me they wouldn't cover it and this year has been very tough financially i didnt know what i was going to do. I scraped together what jewelry I had and brought it to carver reed after reading their reviews and they seriously saved my son and I from having to live in a shelter indefinitely. They were so nice and understanding about my situation and made me feel so much better when i'd been crying for days. The owner even raised his original offer substantially to help me get the amount i needed to begin the repairs on my home. YOU ARE A GOD SEND!! Thank you!!

      I was poorly treated here because I would not tell them exactly what I wanted to spend. They are very rude and will not help you unless you have cash falling out of your purse. DO NOT GO HERE

      I love Carver W Reed & Co -- they have the finest jewelry, the most knowledgeable clerks and the best prices -- I know people who go there to shop and to borrow money --- they provide services where banks cannot compete. Very professional and safe place to shop right in downtown Philly.

      Highly recommended- great way for extra money in this economy. Best part is that you get the money and have time to pay it back and still get your jewelry back. Better then going to a bank for a loan if you have some jewelry you can part with for a little bit. I had to pay a gas bill and wasn't getting my paycheck for another week, I went and got a loan and got my jewelry back the following week when I got paid. I've also had pieces that I've left there for 2 years. Great choice.

      Notably good service experience.....like going to a classy bank

      I was a little apprehensive walking in but was made at ease within minutes. It seemed every other customer who walked in while I was there knew all of the clerks. There were no radios, guitars, tools....just beautiful jewelry. I can see why they've been around longer than anybody. It's really a classy place.

Again, we are regulated by the Pennsylvania State Department of Banking, so the interest is set at only 3% per month. You Only Pay For The Months That Your Jewelry Is Here. For instance, if you borrowed $1000.00, and came back to get your jewelry in one month, the interest would only be $30.00. Where else can you borrow $1000 for $30?
