- Pediatric CareDr. Kuryan is a native of Philadelphia and grew up just a few miles from our office in Northeast Philadelphia. During childhood, he was a member of the Philadelphia Boys Choir and later attended Central High School. After graduating from an 8-year combined BA/MD Medical Scholars program at Widener University and Drexel University College of Medicine, he completed a residency in Pediatrics at Montefiore/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He then completed a fellowship in adult & pediatric Allergy & Immunology at North Shore-Long Island Jewish. He had numerous publications and presented his research at local, national and international conferences. He was thrilled to return to his hometown to join Allergy & Asthma Care in 2012, where he now serves as the President & Managing Partner.
- Emergency CareWhat happens after the shot is administered? You'll wait in our office for thirty minutes after the shot is administered to monitor for any adverse side effects. Irritation, redness, and swelling are normal reactions. However, if you experience a tight throat or shortness of breath, return to our office immediately or go to your nearest emergency room.
- Internal MedicineDr. Patel sees adult & pediatric patients in our Willow Grove, Philadelphia and Richboro offices. He earned a Bachelor of Science at New York University with honors. He then completed medical school at Rutgers- New Jersey Medical School, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Michigan. Dr. Patel then completed his adult and pediatric allergy/immunology fellowship at UT Southwestern in Dallas TX. After completing his fellowship, he returned to the east coast where he joined a private practice in northern New Jersey for 5 years. Dr. Patel was thrilled to join Allergy & Asthma Care in May 2022.
