I had nothing but positive experiences here at this Dental Practice and I had numerous procedures done from root canals to extractions to stays and to a bridge put in. The receptionist area staff is very accomadating and very friendly always a hi with a smile as you walk thru the door. Tony is also a fabulous office manager as well. The office is very clean and the rooms are very clean as well.

Do not GO! The periodontist who did my surgery was very unprofessional. He and his assistant were laughing and talking the whole time during the surgery while I had my mouth open. At the end, the surgery was not successful. Very unprofessional.
I would not recommend this dental office to anyone!

I work and live in center city. From last few months I was on a hunt for a good dentist for the dental work I had needed. My original dentist had recommended dental implants for my 2 missing teeth in the back. Though a good dentist [my original dentist] I had decided to look for more competent and reasonable [cheaper] dentist.



I went on a second consultation with four different dentists including dentist at dental school. Finally, I came across Afton dental, referred by one of my friend. Right after my first consultation visit at Afton, I had decided to have my dental work done by Dr. Nick. I was very impressed with a professionalism I exprienced at Afton. The staff was very accommodating.



Recently, I had my last visit at Afton for my dental rehabilitation. I can see my smile is amazing. I feel so comfortable chewing and biting on hard stuff. Over all I feel extremely confident with my dental health. Top of my dental work, I received complementary teeth whitening treatment which was great.



At this point I can only be certain that I could not have received any better and thorough treatment any where else.



I greatly thank Afton family for all their hard work and efforts. I will see you guys again in six month for the check up. No more crazy dental work :) Not that I mind having it done at Afton.

Decided to check out a new dentist so I went to Afton Dental. Got a cleaning with xrays. The xrays came back negative for cavities but after the cleaning they said I had 4 cavities! I've never had a cavity in my life and I take great care of my teeth. They also said I needed teeth pulled to make room? They really tried to sell me on filling the cavities for $300 EACH and over $1200 for the teeth pulling. I didn't trust them and got a weird feeling from the two dentists so I told them to hold off on the fillings. A few days later I was at a party and a dentist was there. He said he didn't see any cavities and I should go to my family dentist i've been going to for years because some dentists try to sell you on things you don't need done, much like some auto mechanics. I made an appointment with my usual dentist and he gave me a full exam and guess what he said... I DONT HAVE ANY CAVITIES! He said that he hears occasionally that dentists will try to take advantage of young professionals who look like they can spend the cash on dental work. Now I understand why they sounded more like used cars salesman than dentists. I want to report them to the Better Business Bureau for this. I'm sure they have been reported before.

This has been my dental office for past few months. I love the experience every time i visit. Staff and dentist are very accommodating and know what they are doing. They sometimes even treat me with either a giftcard or a goodies bag. I recommend this office to everyone.

I am a man, but I am such a BABY when it comes to the dentist. I usually do not write reviews, but I was so impressed by this office that I had to say something in their behalf. I recently walked into a dental office on Broad Street. They actually took me the same day and the work that I had done did not hurt a bit. I was pleasantly surprised that I now am not afraid to take care of my dental needs.

Great job Dr. Nick and Staff.

The dental office was very nice. The front desk receptionist was very helpful and nice. The dentist was very patient. Would recommend them to anyone.
