Family Planning Council, located in Philadelphia, is a private, nonprofit organization that offers a wide range of skilled nursing and medical care services to low-income individuals and families throughout the state. The council provides financial and other support services. It specializes in cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, pediatrics, psychology and neurology. The center also offers women s care services, including maternity consultations, education and support, family planning, genetic counseling referrals, hormone replacement therapy, nutritional counseling, pregnancy loss support and referrals for domestic violence. Its other services include home health, hospice care, maternity care and outpatient rehabilitation services. The organization provides laboratory services that include mammography, X-ray, magnetic resonance imaging and imaging services. It additionally provides 24-hour medical care and emergency services to the patients.
