Beware. I had a gentleman come out to my house who told me "get your checkbook ready because this is going to be expensive". The problem was that he was saying this before he even got to my air conditioning unit. I didn't trust this guy and asked him to leave. I would pay for his trip out, but didn't want any other service. He then proceeded to ask what I did for a living and said that if I had trouble paying him up front, he could always have the money withdrawn from my paycheck. I had another gentleman come out who was referred to me. He replaced only 1 out of the 3 that was told needed to be replaced. The part cost $20. The gentleman from Academy Air was going to charge me $300.
