My family usually visits this site two or three times a week. Tonight was our second visit this week. We placed our order with the "lady" at the counter---two bacon cheesburgers, one crispy chicken, one french fry and two frosty shakes for a total of $11.38. I took out my little coin purse and got out one quarter, two nickels and three pennies. I gave the "lady" these coins and a twenty dollar bill. She stared and stared at the coins then dumped them into the cash drawer. She then punched $11.35 into the registger. I told her that I gave her 38 cents. She replied "Oh no! You gave me one quarter, one nickel and five pennies." I again repeated what I gave her and she again repeated her statement. I looked at my wife and she rolled her eyes. I knew what she meant. She is a retired math teacher and has often commented on how the invention of the calculating cash register was the greatest invention ever for retailers for it improved the ability of semiliterate staff to just type in the amount received and the register will then tell them how much change to return. However, the correct amount received must be typed in! I did not argue with the "lady" for three cents is not worth causing a scene.



I did not receive a receipt and I cannot provide more information as to time or staff name. I write this review for the purpose of recommending more supervision of counter staff to prevent more loss of customers. For you see, I will just utilize the greatest weapon in the consumer arsenal----I will not return and I also will tell everyone I know of my experience.
