SGE was started more than 35 years ago in a garage in Melbourne, Australia. SGE operates two facilities that develop and manufacture chromatography and analytical products. SGE has grown substantially with 250 employees and a distribution and support network in nine countries, which includes worldwide distribution partners. The company started solely as a syringe manufacturer, but has gown to manufacture a vast array of products for chromatography and mass spectroscopy. SGE is an ISO-accredited company. For the future, the company remains heavily committed to its research and development, which enables SGE to continue to bring innovative technologies and solutions to its partners in analytical science in every corner of the world. The company maintains a facility in Austin, Texas.
