Petersburg High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, science, social studies and language arts. The school offers a range of student programs in art, band, chorus, dance, theater and physical education. Petersburg High School also offers sessions in agricultural science, home economics and technology applications. In addition, it conducts Spanish language programs. The school supports a variety of sports activities, such as football, basketball, soccer, baseball, golf, softball, cheerleading, and track and field. It operates several student organizations, including the National Honor Society, student council, chess club, and chorus and dance teams. Located in Petersburg, W.Va., Petersburg High School also offers guidance counseling services to students.
