General Info

Joseph B. Byrne, MD, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, has an extensive background in orthopedics, including joint replacement, sports medicine and fracture care. After graduating from Tulane University in New Orleans, he completed his orthopedic residency at Harbor–UCLA Medical Center in California, where he had extensive training in general orthopedics, total joint replacement and the treatment of complex fractures. Following his residency, Dr. Byrne completed a fellowship in sports medicine, where he treated complex sports injuries at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans. Dr. Byrne provided orthopedic care to the NFL and NBA.
