I smoked for 45 years, went to her and haven't smoked or had any nicotine for over 3 months now, very happy and satisfied!!!

August is right around the corner! It will be "9" years for me and my daughter and I have never looked back ! I smoked for 33 years, 2 packs a day. I went to see the doctor 9 years ago and it worked instantly. Never needed, wanted a cigarette again.

In 2011 I was diagnosed with stage 2 lung cancer. Had a lobectomy, chemo and here we are. We are a survivor. A smoke free survivor! Thank you Dr. Birch!

My husband and I both quit smoking on the same day after (35 yrs for me and 40 yrs for him) of smoking, after one treatment in 2005, its now 1/14 and we're still smoke free.Thanks Dr Birch

I smoked for 35 years. I tried to quit at least 10 times during that time period with gum, hypnotism, over the counters, prescriptions, etc. I had a friend that visited Dr. Birch to quit smoking. It worked for him and he recommended I see her to quit. I reluctantly drove from Ft Wayne to Toledo to see her. Best trip I ever made. That was in 2006. It is now 2013 and I have her to thank for breaking me of the nasty habit. The day I saw her was the last time I smoked. I do not know if it was mental or physical, but it worked. Thank you Dr. Birch.



PS- I still have the litlle fuzzy dash dude reminding me not to smoke. I am way past the point of even wanting to.

Received the Acupuncture treatment, to stop smoking, about 8 weeks ago. I was skeptical at first, even though Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years as a medical treatment. I was surprised that first morning, there was no "Need" or "Desire" to light up. That first cigarette always went nicely with that first cup of coffee. There has been no "withdraw" at all, in my case. I do and will continue to recommend this course of treatment when anyone asks about a way to stop smoking.

This is the best investment, for a healthy life, that I have ever made.

Dr. Birch is absolutely fantastic! I quit smoking almost 12 years ago after going to Dr. Birch and haven't had a single cigarette since. I had smoked 3 packs a day for 30 years and I did it! I had tried everything else and nothing worked for long, even hypnosis. I have sung Dr. Birch's praises and have given her name to numerous people to try. For me, it was a miracle! I live in Dayton and made the drive to Perrysburg because Dr. Birch was highly recommended. I have not been sorry one day since.

What a wonderful experience!!! I had acupuncture for smoking by Dr. Birch and it worked- I am now smoke free. Dr. Birch is professional and very caring.

The previous reviewer is one in a thousand, and is wrong. If you look up other reviews on the Internet about Dr. Birch (e.g. Yahoo), you will find rave testimonials about how well Dr. Birch's acupuncture treatment for smoking cessation has worked ... for tons of people, even for people who tried acupuncture with with other acupuncturists. And, speaking of expensive, her treatment was the least expensive of all the acupuncturists I called. I'd say that's pretty impressive considering she's been doing acupuncture longer than anyone else the Midwest U.S. and is a real M.D. as well!

Anyway, for me, the treatment made quitting easier than anything else I tried, and I tried everything (dumb gum, zyban, chantix, etc.)! My friend needed one more treatment, went back, and he quit, too! We're two happy campers and spent less money for the treatment than for a month's supply of ciggy-butts. Maybe you should have gone back, plainjane, instead of being nasty here. Oh, well, I guess you can't please everyone :(
