My husband and I have been to the Lumber Yard Restaurant many times. The food is excellent as is the service. There has never been a time when we didn't like anything. We are both lobster eaters and they have the best I've ever eaten. We plan on going back again. Infact, we are going this evening for my 66th birthday. Thank you and keep up the great work.

Service was very good. There was 4 for dinner. Steak was good, Fish also, Veal was the best I have had. We where there on Sunday afternoon around 4:30 and was shocked not to see the place packed. Price's are fair. But the food was great. A little hard to find but worth the drive. 12/22/2011. I would say this is the best in the area.

Tried to get dinner reservations for my graduation from SUNY Geneseo but all the restaurants in Rochester were full. I was recommended Hawley's by a friend and had the best dinner ever! A twenty minute ride from Geneseo and worth the trip. Great food with huge portions at cheap prices, fun atmosphere, and great service! We wish we would have found it four years earlier!
