I give a 3 because there sales is the best. I have bought a lot of cars through them and have always been a great cheerleader for them when talking to anyone looking to buy. There service department leaves something to be desired. I have a 2003 Altima, and took it in last year to have the fuel pump repaired. When I got the car back they gave me the list of suggested fixes. Since I have gotten the car back I have had nothing but problems with the car, and none of the problems were on there suggested repair list. The catalytic converter went out, the crank shaft sensor and cam shaft sensor have been replaced twice, and my overflow tank had a huge hole in it when I got it back. I called to get a price for the wiring harness for the crank shaft sensor, and they quoted us $1000. Said we had to replace the whole harness. I called Avondale Nissan and they said they had a repair kit for $45 and that the whole harness if I needed it was only a couple hundred dollars. So, no stars for service.

First time customer, took my car for oil change and I guess the tech needed my cell phone charger more than I did. Called to complain and their contact person stated, not responsible for items left in vehicle. Fine, I'm responsible for letting the public know what happened and warning them about "Sticky Finger" tech's who work for Peoria Nissan. They lost my business and will let others know to be very careful not to leave personal items in their vehicles. Peoria Nissan ought to pay their Tech a bit more money, so they can afford buy their own stuff. Bye bye Peoria Nissan you've lost this customers business. Does not deserve rating at all!!!!

I bought a 2011 Nissan Rogue. I love the ride and the gas mileage. However, it has a very bad paint job. Every little stone that hits it chips some paint off.

Cons: Service Department is d...

Cons:

Service Department is dishonest and does sub par work (if they even do the service you have it there for).

Vehicle usually comes out worse than it went in.

Service manager and service representatives are dishonest.

Pros:

New car Sales department

I brought my truck in with an electrical issue. The dealership stated that it was not a problem with their truck but a problem with the after market hitch that was put on. They did fix it after long conversation. The problem with this visit was not the actual service, it was what happened when it was being serviced. My wife picked up the truck and did not do a walk around visual check of the car. When she pulled into the driveway I noticed a very large dent in the hood that was not there when we dropped it off. I turned the truck around and went back to the dealership to have them fix the problem. The service manager tried to tell me that the dent was there when I dropped it off, because nothing they would have done would have caused that. After another conversation and them they were not able to prove it did not come in with the dent so "out of the goodness of their heart" were going to get it taken care of. When I went to pick up my truck three days later the service man that brought around the truck (mind you not the service manager) said that is about the fourth truck that was dented due to their automatic carwash machine. I asked him if the manager was aware of the issue and he said that he was very aware because he was the one that had dealt with each of the customers. I then asked him if my dent was any different than the others and he stated it was not. The service manager lied right to my face. Not a sound business practice in my opinion!!

Now to my last issue. On a trip back from California I started experiencing engine temperature issues. The temperature gage was "jumping" from normal to hot then back to normal. It was so weird that I actually took my cell phone out and recorded it as it was happening. The next day I went to the dealership to have them check it out. I went in and explained what was going on and told the service man that I even had a video. He looked up my truck and stated that it was out of factory warranty and it would cost me $150 for them to even look at it. I informed him that I had purchased the best extended warranty that did not even carry a copayment. He said that if he was not able to recreate the issue he would be charging me the $150. I then told him that I had a video of what was going on. He looked up at me and said, "how do I know if it is even your car". I told him that he could check the milage on the video and then look at my car. He said he would not even look at the video because he could not prove it was my truck.

I have contacted Avondale Nissan and they were more than willing to take a look at it and get me all set up. After running a number of tests on the truck, they are replacing the clutch fan, thermostat, catalytic converter and throwing in a free oil change because they needed an extra day to complete the work. They are completing more than $3000 worth of work, all covered by my extended warranty with no out of pocket costs! THANK YOU AVONDALE NISSAN and SHAME ON YOU PEORIA NISSAN!

Great dealership

We bought our 350Z convertible from Peoria Nissan in 2006. We loved our experience. Ask for someone from the fleet department.
