The Austin Centers for Exceptional Students is a private, special education school that serves students in kindergarten through grade 12. It offers a comprehensive instructional program with an emphasis on academic achievement and development of effective social and behavioral skills. Founded in 1995, The Austin Centers for Exceptional Students enrolls more than 600 students. The school employs a team of educators, psychologists, therapists and behavior specialists. It provides therapeutic counseling to students and operates social skills and vocational education programs. The school also offers speech and occupational therapy services.
