Located in Pensacola, Fla., O. J. Semmes Elementary School serves more than 300 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. The school has a staff that includes an administrative assistant, counselor, nurse, instructional specialist, technologist and speech therapists. In addition, it operates a counseling department that serves as a resource for students, parents and its staff, and provides consultation, individual and group counseling, developmental lessons and coordination services. O. J. Semmes Elementary School operates a parent-teacher association that works in partnership with the school s principal and staff, as well as the community to provide programs and services that enhance the educational environment for all its students. The school is a part of the Escambia County School District.
