General Info
The Endoscopy Center, located in Pensacola, Fla., is an ambulatory care center designed specifically to perform outpatient endoscopy and colonoscopy. It also performs other procedures, such as liver biopsy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, upper endoscopy, colonoscopy and esophageal dilation. Its facility houses five suites where procedures are performed, a central recovery room monitored by trained nurses and a sterilization room that is devoted to cleaning and disinfecting all medical instruments. It also has a waiting area for visitors and private conference rooms where physicians can discuss the procedure and findings with the patient and his family. The Endoscopy Center accepts most insurance plans.

Will NEVER go here again. Absolutely no privacy! They ask very personal questions and there are several other patients within a few feet of each other in a room. You are separated only by a hanging sheet so one can hear everything. They absolutely do not adhere to HIPPA laws. When I brought this issue to the manager I was treated in a very condescending manner and was basically told if I didn't like it then don't come back. So if privacy and dignity are not important to you then this is the place for you. Its like an assembly line. Also ask who and what are the credentials of the person administering the anesthetics. They use nurse Anesthetist. 4-5yrs of training for a nurse anesthetist and 12 yrs for an Anesthesiologist!!
