Provided by YP.comIf you desire a real estate agent who is ambitious, hardworking, and truly makes you feel like you are his/her only client, do NOT choose this man. My husband and I were first time home buyers and new to the area when we first met Terry Gaston with Mainstreet Properties. We ended up with Terry because we wanted to look at a home, and his number was the one below the listing. It seemed he was aware when we were dissatisfied to our wits end with his business, because he would constantly ask “What can I do?”, “Is my service ok”, putting both my husband and I in a very awkward position. It became a game of not wanting to be rude (because he is a very soft-spoken polite man), but trying to be stern on our demands. We wanted to answer truly and tell him “it would help if you would answer our phone calls and emails, not call us back past 8pm, and be more ‘gung-ho’ on finding us a suitable home”. In hindsight, I wish my husband and I would have fired him after the first house went bust. Online at activerain.com, Mr. Gaston describes himself as “honest and hardworking and strives on taking care of all the assigned tasks from our first meeting to closing and beyond” and that he “will go the extra mile”. This is the polar opposite of the experience my husband and I had as his client. Stay away from this man if you don’t intend on being your own real estate agent. A positive note of my experience with Terry, it has broadened my experience in real estate, and I have learned from my mistakes.
