Founded in 1926, Penney Retirement Community is a continuing care, Christian retirement community located in Penney Farms, Fla. The retirement community offers a variety of home/apartment choices ranging from single family homes, duplex homes and cottage apartments to one or two-room quad apartments. It offers an array of activities for its residents, including volunteerism, sports, wellness, music, art, cultural events, crafts and continuing education, to name a few. The senior living facility also provides a full line of Christian worship services and programs, such as Bible studies, prayer groups and more. In addition to independent living facilities, Penney Retirement Community offers two assisted living facilities, a memory care facility, a skilled nursing facility and a modern outpatient clinic. The senior living facility s other amenities include swimming pool, Jacuzzi, fitness center, golf course, vegetable garden, tennis courts and library, among others.
