The "nurses/office staff" asks questions in an open environment where anyone can hear about your medical issues or history, which you have already answered on their questionnaires... you know, the papers in the file RIGHT IN THEIR HANDS. There's even a document in there asking you sign that you are aware you're medical history may be spoken of should you bring a spouse/significant other in the examination room with you. No where does it state they are going to be airing this information in front of other patients when you're getting your blood pressure and weight checked. So, I clearly answered the question of when was the first day of my last menstrual cycle... saw the Dr., who in tern asked I come in the very next Monday to give me the birth control shot we discussed and agreed would be best for my lifestyle.
