General Info
Location! Location! Location!!! A short walk to town or gardens 1-3 blocks away! No other so close with best hospitality!!! A 100 year old home in 2018 but with the latest state of the art design yet the era character! A must see!! Hosting guests from New York to San Diego and Missouri to Minnesota in our 11 year operation. Many travelers are simply relaxing and visiting new sights or territories from many different states! We have even hosted a few that were on ministry trips here from Austria, Switzerland, Idaho and Texas. What we love is that their story becomes part of our story and our story part of theirs. We try to do hospitality at its best!! Bev’s desire is for a breakfast that delights the heart, and satisfies your palette. But even greater than that is that guests would encounter The very Bread of Life and taste of His goodness! You see our testimony is one of brokenness to restoration and how God came to our rescue to paint our story on a new canvas! Immaculate surroundings carry the Presence of The Prince of Peace. And our prayer is you will experience His peace. We are repeatedly told our home is one of peace and they feel it upon entering! Even one young lady said upon a recent 4 day stay that she can’t sleep in hotels or anywhere , but she always sleeps well staying here. We are a field of dreams in another way!! Our Craftsman home of 1918 structure modernized yet filled with the utmost of wood design and articulate in character, designed for even pristine tastes! The Lord told Moses a long time ago to “Make Me a sanctuary where I may dwell!” And He also impressed on my husband and I as we prayed before purchasing the house. My prayer (Bev) was “Show me Your Glory” and Doug on the floor on his back with tears streaming down, “Build Me a house where I may dwell!” Thus, The Dwelling Place. Our desire is for you to encounter the Lord and His peace and whatever you need for your journey! “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them.” Rev. 21:3Location!
