Pekin Community High School offers memberships to a variety of sporting activities, such as cross country, golf, football, soccer, swimming, tennis, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, softball and track. The school also promotes student participation in an array of extracurricular activities, including band, dance team, drama, key club, science Olympiad, speech team and student council. The school s counselors work with students on various matters and issues, such as scheduling, grades, and college and career exploration, as well as personal issues. It has several academic departments, including cultural studies, drivers' education, English, mathematics, physical education, science, social studies, and special and vocational education.
