From Pekin First United Methodist Church "WE EXIST TO UNITE EVERY ONE WITH THE LIFE GIVING POWER OF JESUS. We offer 3 opportunities for worship each weekend, each with its own unique style. Our Saturday evening worship (5:00 pm) is approximately 45 minutes and includes traditional hymns with piano accompaniment. Sunday morning 8:15 am worship is traditional in style and features classic hymns, soaring organ and choir music to enhance the experience. This service lasts about an hour. The 10:30 am Sunday service is contemporary in style and is led by our Praise Band. It is high energy, and includes guitars, drums, keyboard, and bass. This service lasts about an hour."
