Women-only residents live together in group fellowship with peer counselors, allowing friendships to develop into a supportive recovery community whose members strive to help and encourage one another with recovery.

In 2015 Cumberland Heights opened its doors to a new retreat in Pegram, Tennessee, a short 20 minute drive west of Nashville. Still Waters for Women is a 30-day, 12-Step immersion retreat, with an emphasis on spirituality experienced when working the steps of Alcoholics Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous (AA/NA).
