      General Info

      Homestyle Desserts originated in the Village of Buchanan, in 1969. The business emerged when Rose Sanca started making apple dumplings at a bake shop named, Dutch Mill Donuts. By 1974, she had started a line of cheesecakes. In 1975, she saw the hiring of Julie, who quickly learned both cheesecake baking and donut production. She was an excellent worker by all accounts. Today Julie is the manager of Homestyle Desserts, and our longest standing employee! Jason and Laura, as well their staff, welcome you to come into Homestyle Desserts. They look forward to any request, whether you looking for a coffee and danish, or planning for a special occasion. We have endless gratitude for our community in supporting us over the years.
