Located in Pearson, Ga., Atkinson County High School offers academic classes to students in grades 9 through 12. The school conducts classes in language arts, math, science, social studies, industrial technology, art, music, world languages, reading and computer technology. Atkinson County High School has a guidance counseling department that provides information related to various colleges, apprenticeship programs, trade schools, scholarships and college workshops. The school is a part of Atkinson County Schools. Atkinson County High School has a parent-teacher-student association that organizes various fundraising events. The school offers a range of extracurricular activities, such as art, ecology and drama clubs; peer mediation; journalism; Bible studies; and student government.
