Love the egg rolls and wonton soups mandarin chicken

I won't eat here anymore the food was not up to snuff it reminded me of chow hall grub in basic training.

We had take out on 10-26-12, after driving from Picayune, (MS). We found the food to be average (not a quarter as good food as the South Sea Restaurant). My wife is highly allergic to shrimp and shell fish. When we placed the order by phone my daughter specificly (and I heard her make the call) explained that she was allergic to shrimp. She was assured that the fried rice that came with the meal only contained pork. Fortunately, I noticed that I had shrimp in my rice. My daughter checked my wife's rice first, it had shrimp, and so did my wife's. When my daughter called the manager to complain the manager said "Didn't she tell you that we always put shrimp in the rice on Friday's." That is certainly something that could easily send someone to the hospital, or worse. The manager didn't even give an "Im sorry", yet alone any offer to refund the cost of the meal. So anyone with any type of food allergy might really check what you are getting. They have definately lost our business forever, and I'm sure I will give my OPINION to those I meet.

You have got to try their food! The eggrolls are INCREDIBLE and the price is unbelievable. Friendly staff. Great Service. WE LOVE CHINA PEARL!!!

Tonight, among dozens and dozens of other times that I have ordered dinner from China Pearl, I was 100% unsatisfied with the way the handle their customers from the phone to when you walk in the door. The woman who answers the phone is unpleasant and never sounds cheerful. We get it...you hate your job, but guess what you choose to work here so stop feeling sorry for yourself and act professional. I'm sorry, but as much as I hate to say this, the way I get treated as a customer reflects whether or not you will see my business again. I want to be treated the way I treat my customers. NOT with a I hate my life and job attitude. Don't get me wrong, the food is delicious, but tonight was the last time I will ever deal with those unpleasant people.
