This hidden jewel is more than worth finding. People line the sidewalk on weekend mornings for omelets, pancakes and, of course, the signature biscuits with homemade apple-butter. Nosh on dinner features like the Turkey Pot Roast or one of the vegetarian selections like the Black Bean Love Cakes. This cozy spot offers a main dining room plus a warm back room fittingly named, The Sunflower Room. Both perfect for enjoying brilliant company and heavenly chow.You'll feel right at home, especially when the Creamy Dreamy Grits are delivered to your table. If you prefer a mimosa with your meal just ask your spunky server, they'll happily oblige.

They're famous for biscuits?!?
Mcdonald's biscuits are better... Other flying biscuits have much softer biscuits, but this one gives shame to the name. On top of that, the wait takes forever, and one day I was there for awhile and no one ever offered to refill my glass, which had been empty for almost the entire time I was there. When I asked, the waiter told me he'd come back for it and never did. Their potatoes are a little on the salty side, but otherwise the food is alright. But this restaurant definitely does not live up to The Flying Biscuit name.
