I had a wonderful experience with Adoption Connection. Susan Darke was the person I dealt with. We had several long phone conversations at the beginning of my search. She found my birth mother's name and address, but no other contact info (which I assume was to protect may birth mother). I wrote a letter to my birth mother and we met about 6 months after that. I've read the other reviews on Adoption Connection saying it is not so great after all. All I know is that I used the company over 10 years ago, so I'm not sure if that's the reason for the disparate ratings. I just know that Susan was very supportive. It took about 6 months to find my birth mother. I'm wondering now if the agency has changed; and, if so, why. I know from my experience, I walked away very happy after finally getting the truth about who I was.

Going on about 8 years now... still waiting. Cashed the check no problem. Paid for both birthparents. Left me with: "looking like birth father is dead... found obituary in NY and he had no siblings so looks like it's him... waiting for official documents." Eight years later and ALL phone calls have been ignored, e-mails not responded to EVER- not even once! The saddest part is I made Susan aware I was in a health crisis and it was vital information I was looking for. To leave me this way is just unprofessional and inhumane at best! The Adoption "Connection" (and I put that lightly) should be ashamed of themselves!‎
