The Payson Police Department is a law enforcement agency that preserves peace and order, prevents and detects crime, apprehends offenders, and protects residents lives and property. It operates a communication center that provides emergency and nonemergency information and communication services to various federal agencies. The Payson Police Department also maintains the Payson Police Academy that organizes a variety of community, youth and neighborhood watch programs. The department is located in Payson, Ariz.
