I worked here for several years, I'm listing some of what happened here at that time because it needs to be out there.
Dogs stayed in twin mattress sized, cement floored kennels ALL day. The outdoor potty kennels were the same size. Dogs often stepped in their waste because they didn't have enough room.
Owner required that beds/blankets customers brought for their pets not be used and lie to customers that we used them.
Fed toenail clippings to one of the daycare dogs as treats.
Owner had small dogs boarded in travel kennels (the kind you use in your car) when busy w/out telling customers. Dogs sat in travel kennel save for 2 potty breaks and maybe a playtime.
Dogs had 2 potty breaks from 8-9 am and 4-5 pm Mon-Fri; 9-10 am and 4-5 pm Sat, Sun, and holidays.
Dogs waited in potty kennels in freezing temps often over an hour.
Dogs got thin blankets to lay on, blanket destroying dogs had cement. The blankets came from deceased animals in for cremation services.
Employees often didn't care for cats till noon, so no cat got out of its cage even though employee had been there since 6:30. Didn't rotate cats out of their cages.
Witnessed owner clean a dog's paws w/ bleach.
The cockatoo was neglected and kept in loud, dusty grooming room. This bird never got attention, only stimulation he had was shredding newspaper he sometimes got.
Lied to customers about playtime. Dogs weren’t played with, just stuck outside for 15 minutes.
In the potty kennel area, there was a small bedroom sized kennel. If booked, employees put dogs in there for 15 minutes and charged customers playtime for it.
In the summer, kennels got so humid there were actual puddles on every kennel's floor. Blankets got SOAKED.
Dogs got no exercise. Dogs sat in kennels all day.
Owner sometimes groomed dogs w/ leash around the neck and tied to the ceiling. One time small dog lunged off the table leashed like that. Dog was fine somehow, owner grumbled something like “she's gonna hang herself here eventually.”

Boarded my little cat Rumi at Eve's for two weeks, only $9 per day. The place is spotless. Good service, friendly and knowledgeable people. I will definitely use Eve's Groom and Room in the future.

I have had three fur babies cremated here. Very nice employees. Will continue going there. Thank you!
