West Deptford Middle School provides educational classes to students in grades five through eight. It has a library that has more than 23,000 items in reference, nonfiction, biography, and fiction, including an extensive paperback collection. It also assists in research and in choosing materials for recreational reading. The school has a counseling department that communicates with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student issues and needs. It provides interscholastic athletic program that includes various sports, such as field hockey, basketball, cross country and wrestling. The school s academic curriculum includes English, math, science, social studies, reading, writing, basic skills, language arts, health and physical education. The school is governed by the West Deptford Public Schools and is located in West Deptford, N.J.
