Daviess/Dekalb County Regional Jail provides a complete range of services for inmates. The jail operates a corrections division that is responsible for the care, custody and control of sentenced and nonsentenced inmates. It has two buildings with a capacity for more than 200 prisoners. Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail s court security division offers controlled courthouse access solutions. The jail s officers also conduct a variety of security checks for handbags and purses, as well as bathrooms, closets and common areas. Additionally, it provides food services for prisoners. Daviess/Dekalb County Regional Jail maintains a pharmacy, as well as has arrangements for outside dental practices.
