Just needed to put my input on the professionalism of the employees at Budget Buy and Sell. In patchogue . All Very friendly and helpfull. They work with you to a certain point. I had a employee by the name of Artie ,and his help that he gave me was very satisfying. I cannot possibly praise Chris (and the other associates) from Budget Buy and Sell enough! I had my engagement/ wedding rings resized by them at an extremely fair price. (I had estimates from other jewelers in the area, that were literally 10x more!) Budget Buy and Sell did a beautiful job, called to let me know my rings were ready today, as promised, and Chris was so kind and compassionate. I was absolutely thrilled! Thank you again Chris!! I would recommend them to anyone, and I will definitely be back!

the staff at buget buy or sell is very smart. they had all the answers for my gold coins. my $20.00 gold piece was worth $500.00 which was great. i thought it was going to be worth $1800.00 but i was informed that it was not pure gold and most u.s. coin is made from copper. i learned a lot from selling to them. i have more coins that i will be bringing in for this huge amount of money. $500.00 for a 20 dollar gold piece. what a score. thank you sooooo much. the only thing is that i recieved no receipt. they do not give recipts for coins.

I sold gold jewelry for the first time recently and had a very pleasant experience using Budget Buy and Sell. The gentleman were both polite and informative, and I felt confident that I received the best possible price for my broken scrap jewelry. I would recommend this store to anyone who is looking for a reputable and honest business who purchases gold jewelry. In my experience most stores in this industry can be curt and rude, but Budget Buy and Sell was by far and away the nicest and best paying store that I found in all of Suffolk County.

i did my comparison shopping before going to BBS. they were recommended by a friend but when it comes to money i want to make sure i'm getting the best price. after going to five dealers i went to them last b/c they were bit out of the way b ut well worth it. they offered me nearly 25% more than every one else and to top it off they gave me a coupon for $20 worth of gas. you can't beat that. save yourself time and gas money. good luck

DO NOT SELL YOUR GOLD HERE!!! These people are CROOKS...parasites of our community. I brought a ziploc bag of gold to them for an appraisel because I was desperate for $$$ to pay my rent. They gave me a quote of $200, I then went up the street to the antique store and the nice man there gave me $800 for my gold. Thats a rediculously different price!!! They pray on the weak, especially women&minority. I would reccomend going ANYWHERE but budget buy&sell. Dont trust them,count your gold pieces and even weigh it if you can before handing it to them(they may have even stolen a bracelet from my bag) I hope they can sleep well at night knowing they rip people off(legally)for a living.

Based on a recommendation from a friend, i recently brought some old jewelry odds and ends to Budget Buy and Sell in Patchogue in the hopes of making a few extra dollars. Despite my previous expectations of what a shop of its nature would be like, i was impressed with the quality of the store and the kindness of the employees, who certainly took their time helping me. It was just an overall pleasant experience and one that has encouraged me to search my jewelry box for more items to bring in.

I recently went to Budget Buy and Sell and sold some of my used jewelry. They were efficient in going through my pieces and gave me a sum beyond my expectations. I was also very impressed by the variety of items they had in the store, especially some of the non-jewlery items. Overall it was a great experience and i would certainly suggest them to a friend.

My high school ring was lying around collecting dust and I decided to sell it. I inquired through email about selling it and Jimmy reponsed very quickly and told me I would get good money in scrap for my ring, and he said that I could either mail it to him or come in person and walk out with cah in my pocket and that's exactly what i did with $70 in my pocket. They are very helpful and honest, as well as friendly. I will come again when I have more of my old gold jewelery to dispose of.

Recently I had heard that gold had gone up to new highs and that my scrap jewelry could be worth something. At first I did not think that I had anything worth making a trip for but when I heard of a friend of mine who recieved $700 for just a fairly small amount of scrap jewelry I fiquered I would give it a shot. Together my wife and I gathered up spare links, bent braclets, out of style jewelry and anything else we did not use anymore. In all it was about the size of a golf ball if I squeezed it in my palm. I had heard great recommendations of Budget Buy and Sell in Patchogue and seen there ads all over the place, so I went. In 10 minutes I was walking out with $1700 in cash, it was like found money because all I did was get rid of something we had no use for now we can take the money and do something much better with it. Thanks Budget Buy and Sell, I would recommend them to anybody, they gave me top dollar, they have a nice store and their people were really nice to deal with.
