Incorporated in 1893, Children s Day Nursery provides various child care services. Its services include extended daycare facilities, toddler and young adult preschool education programs, and subsidized sliding scale copayment programs for families meeting the desired criteria. Children s Day Nursery also offers free Abbott preschool program and wrap around services for 3- and 4-year olds, kindergarten classes with enhanced wraparound program screenings for vision, hearing, dental and nutrition programs, consulting pediatricians and dentists, screenings and evaluations for language, cognition and resilience, psychological assessments, evaluations, and clinical intervention services using play and art therapy modalities. It also provides intervention services form state-certified speech and education specialists, social service intervention programs for children with resilience and behavioral concerns, parenting skills and family empowerment workshop series, and adult evening English language classes with computer teaching aids.
