The institution is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE), which is the successor to COEI of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS):

Interactive Learning Systems is approved and regulated by the Texas Workforce Commission, Career Schools and Colleges Section, Austin, Texas.

The institution is eligible for, and may participate in, certain federal programs of aid to education including Federal PELL Grant, Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grants (SEOG), and Federal Work Study Program.
