Founded in 1986, FutureCare operates more than 10 medical facilities in Maryland. It offers comprehensive short- and long-term clinical care services and maintains one of its facilities in Pasadena, Md. The organization employs registered and licensed practical nurses and geriatric nursing assistants who provide 24-hour health care services. FutureCare provides specialized care in the areas of dialysis, ventilator and wound care, as well as orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. It also offers postoperative care, infusion therapy, tube feeding, pain management, diabetes management, and palliative and hospice care services. The organization s rehabilitation team consists of physical and occupational therapists and speech pathologists. Its LYFE Today program offers regenerative care to encourage residents. FutureCare additionally operates hemodialysis programs at selected locations.
