This place was delicious! Remember, its a champagne and dessert bar. They do offer some light dishes if you're looking for a meal, but all you need is the dessert!



Our waiter was very nice and helpful and he even gave us two scoops of homemade ice cream on the house. We had the Almond Joy and Pop Royale for cocktails, and the Souffle of the Day (Mexican chocolate) as well as 4 different scoops of ice cream (Basil, Watermelon Mint, Popcorn, and Sea Salt Caramel). The souffle was perfectly baked and tasted delicious and the different ice creams were all great. I wasn't a huge fan of the Popcorn flavored one but my boyfriend loved it. The watermelon mint was my favorite - a light and refreshing taste!

I was so excited to try this place and could not wait for it to open...then it opened and boy was it a let down! I went to Pop on a Saturday night with friends and we had a very frustrating experience. First of all the atmosphere needs some serious help. Some aspects are ok, but it seems like they ran out of money and just started throwing up whatever on the walls. Imagine what you think a champagne & dessert bar would like and then go here...they seriously missed the mark. Next frustrating part was the service. If I am out with friends and ready to spend some money I do not like being treated like we are an annoyance to the server...especially when the place is not that crowded. We were just a group of girls trying to have fun and man was our server a buzz kill!! Also our table was wiped down with a musty old bar rag that made our whole seating area smell awful. When we simply mentioned it to our server she snapped at us and said they had only been open a month and there was no way a wet rag could get musty smelling in a month...seriously?!?! Luckily Pop does have a good selection of champagne flights which was fun and helped us somewhat ignore our rude server and our smelly table. We also ordered some desserts that were very good and presented well. I would go back for drinks, but I seriously hope they get their staff and atmosphere in check.
