Our daughter goes to Kids Klub and has since she was six months old. The teachers and support staff are wonderful, caring people and the environment is lots of fun. I always tell people it's like taking your child to a children's museum everyday for school: there's a huge fish tank, lizards, snakes, a pretend general store, a library, a theater and more. They have good food you can purchase for your child's lunch program, a fun outdoor play area and amazing hours. We usually stick to the normal 8-5 workday ourselves, but appreciate knowing that they are there. It's great when you child is old enough to switch to preschool because there is not transition to a new place, just a new classroom. We recommend this without reservation.
Kids Klub Pasadena has been in our family for a few years now, and we LOVE it! Our daughter transfered in when she was just over two. Within a few weeks of moving she began speaking in full sentences and her vocabulary completely expanded. Could be that it was just a matter of putting her in a different environment but she has consistently learned a great deal over the past few years in all her classes.
My son started at 12 weeks, and has been in the program for the past year and a half. He loves going to school each day, and loves his teachers.
The Evening / Weekend program is great for working parents, who can extend the hours and even get their kids dinner with just a call should a work emergency come up. Many times the kids are hanging with their school buddies, so it turns into an impromptu party that the kids really enjoy.
Also great for working parents is the extracurricular offerings that are integrated during and just after the school day - instead of running all over town you get access to ballet, karate, and gymnastics in one easy location. They're even testing out some additional programs - theatre and art. We've tried all the programs and have really liked each one - the hard part is picking which ones NOT to do.
The faculty and staff at Kids Klub are just like part of the family now, and we're so happy they're in our lives!
