Dr. Sammarone is a Fellowship Trained, Triple Board-Certified Pain Physician, with over 20 years of Clinical Experience. Prior to his present solo private practice which he founded in 2011, he spent 13 years at S. Barnabas Med. Center in Livingston, NJ. There he practiced Pain Management and Anesthesiology while also Teaching for the Residency Program. In Italy, his native country, he graduated from Medical School at the top of his class of over 700 students: "110 e Lode"/Summa cum Laude. He then came to the U.S. after serving for the Italian Army and completed 2 Residencies: Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology and then was chosen and completed a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management in New York. His extensive experience and knowledge, combined with the use of cutting-edge techniques and equipment, allows him to obtain the best possible results. He performs a full range of minimally invasive procedures, including epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation, endoscopic facet denervation, percutaneous disc decompression, sympathetic blocks, PRP (Platelets Rich Plasma) injections, spinal stimulator, discograms, vertebroplasty, trigger point injections and joint injections.

Dr. Sammarone is such an amazing caring doctor! So glad I found him! He always spends as much time as needed with his patients and is always trying to find a way to help! He also cares personally about his patients! Through my back pain I found out I had kidney cancer and Dr. Sammarone was always checking on me throughout my diagnosis as well as trying to help with my back pain. There aren't many doctors these days who go out of their way for patients and show a genuine interest in them!
His and his staff have always been very professional, friendly and my chronic back and neck pain has been controlled well with his treatment he recommanded treatements

I have had years of dealing with pain. I suffer with endometriosis back, & hip pain that was not able to be cured or managed. When i met Dr Sammarone he listened to my complaints and immediately started with a plan of action. His staff is welcoming and flexible. I have had numerous events where I needed to switch or come in unexpectedly and i was seen. I feel relaxed when speaking with him and he listens to all of my needs.
I have been coming here for a few years now. From the time I walked in her the first time to now I have been able to get my life together. Dr Sammarone has helped me gain control and set me on the right path with his treatments.
i am not nearly a common case with the amount of injuries i have.He has done his best to accomadate me and my problems i would recommend him to anyone.
He is very knowledgeable and takes time with you to make sure that you understand all aspects of your pain and what the sreps are to help you.
I've been working with him for a year now and he has really helped with the pain. The difference from when i started to now is unbelievable. Everyone from the staff in his private office to the surgical center is extremely nice. The communication is fantastic and they go over and beyond to make sure your questions/concerns are answered.

Has been very helpful to me, I think he is a good doctor. I like him a lot compared to a lot of other doctors that I have been to. He shows a lot of knowledge in what he does. His office is very nice and his follow ups are very good. He deserves many awards! He has helped my pain a lot more, I feel I can do so much more now after seeing the doctor.
When I came to Dr Sammarone I was experiencing pain so severe that I had never experienced before. I had seen two doctors who made me feel that there was little they could do for me. Dr Sammarone took most of my pain away and I am able to go back to living my life.
